Communicating the Law and Communicating by Law by the International Court of Justice
On May 15, 2019, the first public colloquium of the International Legal Communication Research Center took place. The lecture entitled „Communication of Law and Communication by Law by the International Court of Justice” was delivered by dr Izabela Gawłowicz, assistant professor at the Department of International and European Law at the University of Zielona Góra, a promoter of the Court’s jurisprudence and an enthusiast of its importance in international public law. Dr Gawłowicz is lecturer at summer schools of the European Law Students Association ( ELSA) at the European University Viadrina and at the University of Gdańsk, lecturer at bilingual Erasmus Mundus Master DIE studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, author of publications on the International Court of Justice, including the monograph „Diplomatic law in the jurisprudence of the International Court of Justice” (CH BECK 2018).
