We are fortunate to have been successful in the mini-grants programme for the 4EU+ Alliance! Excited to work with colleagues from the University of Warsaw, the University of Kopenhagen, the University of Milan and the Charles University in Prague, representing applied linguistics, law, political science and sociology!
- “Transnational legal communication on Covid-19: from institutional to popular discourse”, carried out by UW with researchers from Charles University in Prague, and the University of Milan as part of Flagship 2, “Europe in a changing world: Understanding and engaging societies, economies, cultures and languages”; Project Manager: dr hab. Joanna Osiejewicz, Faculty of Applied Linguistics, UW.
Four inter-university research teams have received co-financing as part of the second competition for mini-grants, funded by IDUB. The teams will carry out projects associated which are thematically related to the four flagship areas of the 4EU+ Alliance.
Similarly to the first, pilot competition, mini-grants could be obtained by research teams comprised of members from the University of Warsaw as well as representatives of at least two other universities belonging to the 4EU+ Alliance.
The objective of the mini-grant programme is to strengthen cooperation between the University of Warsaw and the other members of the 4EU+ Alliance, through shared research projects. The anticipated result of each project that is carried out with a mini-grant is the development of research objectives for a project proposal that may then be submitted in a competition for grants which are financed or co-financed from external sources (domestic or foreign, including EU funds), in order to enable the continuation and development of research cooperation.
