Sarah Hurwitz, PhD

Dr Sarah Hurwitz is an Associate Professor at the Indiana University School of Education. Her interests focus on supporting students with disabilities in inclusive school settings and on teacher education programs that prepare teachers to work with all kinds of learners. Dr Hurwitz’s research addresses the social and behavioral needs of autistic children and works to develop effective interventions for those students. She received her PhD in Special Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
