Aims of the Research Laboratory on Diversity:
- to create interdisciplinary platform for research and exchange of knowledge in human science (linguistics, law, education, psychology), as well as medical sciences.
- to draw attention to the laws and regulations, including people with disabilities and other special needs (also educational) and children with migration experience;
- to popularise research in these areas, which can contribute to improving people with special needs quality of life and changing regulations and norms;
- to communicate the law to vulnerable groups and those with special needs.
Research and other initiatives at national and international levels in:
- special needs and disabilities, with a special focus on special educational and communication needs, focusing particular attention on children and young people;
- support in the process of adaptation and integration of persons from different cultural backgrounds, with particular focus on children, pupils and students with migration experience and special educational needs;
- education and communication in and for diversity (migration, mobility, changing educational environments);
- laws and regulations for children and young people, including those with disabilities and other special needs (e.g, educational needs) and children with migration experience;
- communication of the law (e.g. on children’s rights) to groups with special needs (e.g. neurodiverse, with migration and refugee experience).
